Windows 10 makes it easy to import photos from your iPhone. However, this simple method can sometimes cause problems for some users and they cannot import photos from iPhone to Windows 10 system. Service, hardware, iPhone, or PC issues may prevent you from transferring photos from an iPhone to a PC.

Some users may not be able to discover all the photos on their iPhone, while others may not be able to start uploading photos. The problem that users face varies, which is why the list of solutions to this problem is also diverse.

What should I do if I can’t import photos from my iPhone to Windows 10?

As mentioned above, there’s no reason why you can’t import photos from your iPhone. So make sure you look at all the solutions one by one and try them out. 1. Reboot the computer to

5. Disabling antivirus

Some antivirus programs may block the transfer of images from the iPhone. In such situations, you can temporarily deactivate the antivirus program. If you do not want to disable virus protection, you can disable certain functions of the external storage.

You can try to import photos after turning off the antivirus; if this works, contact support to solve the problem for you. If you see a down arrow next to Apple USB devices, right-click the device and select Enable Device. However, if other icons appear next to the device, you can use the following solution to reinstall the device.

However, if there is no Apple device on the Universal Serial Bus, you can connect the phone to another USB port and check. Problems with the USB slots may cause the devices to malfunction. Make sure you wait 1 minute after connecting your phone to another USB port, and then check your Apple device in Device Manager.

7. Reinstalling the USB device from Applemobile device

8. Using another Windows computer 10

If the problem is with the computer itself, nothing will help you import photos from the iPhone. You can use another Windows 10 PC and check if data transfer is possible. If the data transfer also fails on another computer, the problem is with your iPhone.

10. Make sure you have installed support for Apple mobile devices on your PC.

You should have Apple mobile device support installed on your PC so you can easily import photos from your iPhone. To check if it is installed or not, follow the detailed instructions below.

Step one: Open the control panel by navigating to the Start menu.

Step two: Click on the program to open it.

If you cannot find Apple Mobile Device Support in the list of applications and features, remove Apple App Support, iTunes, QuickTime from your PC. Once you’ve uninstalled everything, reinstall iTunes and check the Control Panel to see if you can find support for Apple mobile devices.

As soon as you see the desired program in the Control Panel, check if you can import photos from your iPhone.

11. Full control over the image folder

If you do not have full permission for your photo folder, you cannot import photos from the iPhone to Windows 10. You can have full control over the Images folder by configuring its properties.

Step one: Right-click on the Images folder and select Properties from the context menu.

Step five: You must enter the name of the account in the Enter name field. You can copy the device name from the Location section to avoid errors. Click Check Names to confirm that the correct name has been added and then click OK.

Step six: Check all boxes under Basic Permissions except Special Permissions. Also set the type to Allow and apply it to this folder, subfolders and files. Click OK to save the new changes.

Now check if you can import photos without any problems. If resolution was the only obstacle to transferring photos, this solution would solve the problem.

12. Reboot of Apple mobile phone service

You can try restarting Apple’s service for mobile devices to troubleshoot problems transferring photos from iPhone to Windows 10.

Step one: Press Windows + R to open Runs and type services.msc. Press Enter or OK to open the Services application.

13. Resetting iPhonePrivacy and Location Settings
